Warm, courteous, with great attention to detail. Intimate service but not smothering. Beautiful traditional Moroccan interiors and numerous split level rooftops. Great evening meals available on advanced request. Situated in a quieter(!) quarter of the medina but minutes from the bustling souks. We would highly recommend it as a base to explore the greater region especially the surrounding mountains.

The position of the Riad is perfect for exploring Tarourdant - situated in a quiet covered alley approx 30 m off one of the main roads within the Medina. Henri and Lutz made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left (for those feeling slightly worried at being able to find the Riad we rang ahead and Henri cycled to meet us at the city walls to guide our car to a point very close to the Riad)

The Riad was beautiful and a real place of calm. The owners were attentive and very welcoming going out of their way to make us feel at home during out stay. No hesitation in recommending this place.

This was by far the best accommodation we stayed in while travelling around Morocco. Infact it is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. We recieved a wonderful warm welcome from the owners and chose which rooms we wanted - which was hard as all of them are different but equally lovely. The entire building is utterly charming and our hosts were attentative throughout our stay. We had pre-ordered dinner which was magnificent - highly recommend this as good places to eat are not so common in this city. I became ill while there and I couldn't have been in a better place - the attemtion and care I received was wonderful. In would most certainly return - just to experience this riad again. I cannot recommend it enough.

Riad Maia is a gem! The location is excellent, the price is right and the owners have created a work of art, with fine attention to detail throughout the house. The upper terrace is a beautiful place to relax, and the breakfast a perfect way to start the day. We would recommend this Riad with complete confidence to any travellers.

Very friendly owners, good food, great room, and good value.

A little far from the center area, and it was necessary to walk through a somewhat dark passageway to reach the Riad. It would be better if they would add some lighting to the passageway.

The two persons who welcomed us were very friendly and efficient. The surroundings of the Riad were very well planned and setup including our room where we stayed in. We only had breakfast there but it was very well prepared and tasted good.

Riad Maia is a lovely riad with recent renovation, and a fine atmosphere. Very nice rooms, air conditioning, good wifi, and a pleasant roof terrace. The hosts were terrific, and presented a delicious breakfast. A terrific stay!

Beautiful, comfortable, good location, super breakfast, lovely terrace, friendly and helpful owners. You experience what you expect from a Riad... Discrete from outside, but so cozy, charming from inside. You feel welcomed ...like at home... Adding the feeling that you are really enjoying holidays. 100% recommendable. I would love to stay here again, and chill out at the great terrace.

Excellent central location but tucked away and quiet. We ate at the Riad, and Mina made the best Tajine I have ever had! Authentic, fragrant and so tasty! Tastefully decorated rooms, clean, and a nice roof terrace too

Could have been more information on hand, like maps and info on tours, as they do have some info on their website but not in the Riad itself!
